THREE(+) WEEK STAY AND TRAIN PROGRAM

We’ve found that three weeks is the ideal amount of time to accomplish everything we offer in our training program.
While your dog is with us, they experience a full reset — one built on structure, boundaries, and consistency. Through clear communication, they begin to understand new expectations and develop better behavior patterns.
This time away is also a valuable opportunity for you to reset. It gives you the space to reflect, recharge, and prepare to be the best version of yourself for your dog’s return.
A strong, balanced relationship between you and your dog is essential for lasting success. As your dog grows and changes during training, it’s just as important that you’re evolving too — because training is a lifestyle, not a one-time event.

This program is ideal for owners looking to give their dog a strong head start in training. It’s important to understand that this is not a quick fix — it’s the beginning of a new lifestyle. We’ll build the foundation, but ongoing work at home will be essential for long-term success.
Our approach starts with your dog’s mindset. We focus on slowing things down and introducing a life built on calm, structure, and clarity. Only then do we begin teaching obedience and manners. Without the right state of mind, it’s nearly impossible for your dog to fully absorb and retain what they’re learning.
In some cases, a longer training program may be recommended. This will be discussed during your initial evaluation.
**Please note: Dogs 5 years and older are enrolled in a minimum 4-week program to ensure meaningful progress and lasting results.

What Your Dog Will Learn

Our program is comprehensive and results-driven, focusing on both obedience and behavioral transformation.
Core Obedience Commands
Your dog will learn seven essential commands to build a solid foundation of communication and control:

  • Sit

  • Down

  • Heel (walk politely on a leash)

  • Come (reliable recall)

  • Place (with duration/stay)

  • Out (release/drop it)

  • Off (no jumping or getting on furniture)

🧠 Everyday Structure & Manners
In addition to basic obedience, your dog will also learn to:

  • Hold commands like Sit, Down, and Place with duration

  • Wait at thresholds (front door, back door, car door, garage) until given permission

  • Settle calmly in the kennel

As part of the program, you’ll receive a 1-hour mid-program session and a 2-hour “go home” session at the end. On drop-off day, we’ll send home your personalized homework assignments, which you’ll be required to work on daily to reinforce your dog’s training.
Before the mid-program session, you’ll complete a study guide and quiz based on the homework to help ensure you’re confident with the material and techniques. During the mid-session, we’ll review your progress and address any questions.
After graduation, the program also includes three follow-up sessions to support your continued success. You’ll be invited via text to join our monthly Pack Walks from October through April — a great way to socialize and reinforce training in a group setting.
Your dog will go home equipped with an E-Collar system from E-Collar Technologies, along with a long line, slip lead, and prong training collar to maintain their progress.
To keep you connected, we share daily updates and progress through Instagram and Facebook stories — we highly recommend following along so you can see your dog’s hard work in action! In some cases, we offer a 1-hour in-home evaluation for $100. This fee will be credited toward your deposit if you decide to book the program.
